I love Jesus. My life has been transformed by Him in a way that is so powerful, so beyond my understanding. Out of gratitude to Him, all I know to do is give Him my all. My life, my worship, my time, every aspect of me is completely His to use. And He broke my heart my generation.
My generation is more connected than ever, and are more similar than ever, all around the world. But they are so lost. We're dealing with a pandemic of anxiety, depression and suicide. Young people are led to believe that they have to become someone of worth and significance, rather than knowing who they were made to be. When they think of Jesus, they think of an old and insignificant relic of the past. They're not looking to the church for answers.
So I heard His call. Jesus said:
'Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'
Matthew 28:19-20
I want this global youth culture to know about the one that created them. I want them to know their worth, their purpose. I want them to know Jesus. And I've found that my peers are hungry to know Him. They're longing for something bigger than themselves. But how do we reach them if they're not looking to the church for answers?
We need to speak their language!
I've been working together with an organization called Steiger International. Steiger focusses on reaching and discipling the global youth culture for Jesus, in a language they can understand. We share a message that lifts up the cross in a relevant way. Steiger has been training and investing in me, and I've been involved with many different projects. I've been involved with pioneering work, as well as high-impact evangelistic efforts in cities all around the world. This work has my heart, I can use so many of the skills that God put inside of me to reach my generation. And I've seen the fruit, many have gotten to know Him! Check out the testimony of a guy I met in Pretoria, South Africa.
I want to go and introduce people to Jesus, and to equip and inspire other young believers to do the same. Will you help me? To do Gods mission I need your support. Here's some things you can support me with.
